Looking for a magical birthday experience that your young witch or wizard will never forget? Step through the doors of Quizzic Alley and into a world of wonder with our enchanting Brews & Bubbles Potions Class—a spellbinding, 90-minute adventure hosted by one of our mischievous Potions Masters!

This isn’t your average birthday party. In a Brews and Bubbles Potions Class, students dive wand-first into the mystical art of potion-making. Under the careful (and occasionally cackling) guidance of their Potions Master, they’ll mix, stir, and swirl their way through two secret potions. The recipes are top-secret—locked away in our spell-stained grimoires—but we can reveal they’ll bubble, expand, foam and wow!

Brew Two Potions and Take One Home!

Apprentice potion makers will first be guided through a wand choosing ceremony and a blind tasting that some may regret! Then, with wands in hand and cauldrons at the ready, the brewing begins! Guided by one of our talented Quizzic Alley professors to brew two spectacular potions. First comes an exciting expanding potion. Measure, mix, stir and cast spells to uncover the secrets and create a potion wothy of the class name. The second potion is a wonderfully hands-on potion for each student to create and take home. It’s creative, interactive, delightfully messy and filled with laughter, wonder and unforgettable magical moments.

Create, Celebrate and Conjure Joy!

Halfway through the class, everyone takes a break to sing and enjoy cake, snacks and a refreshing tankard of our famous QBrew, Quizzic Alley’s magical butterscotchy beverage, while celebrating their newly crafted creations and the birthday guest’s latest lap around the sun.

Best of all, every student takes their handcrafted wand home at the end of the party. Their wand, designed and created by them, a treasured keepsake that can spark imaginative play long after the birthday celebrations have ended.

At Quizzic Alley, we’re all about making birthday parties a magical experience for parents and guardians as well. We’ve got a host of extras, including food, to help make the day a little easier. Optional add-ons include:

• Handmade Wands – One-of-a-kind creations from Quizzic Alley’s own wandmaker, offered to partygoers for half their usual price ($7.95 each instead of $15.95).
• Bewitching Cakes – Choose from three deliciously magical options (we won’t reveal if one includes exploding sprinkles).
• Toasted Sandwiches from Melted – Delivered warm and gooey from our Melted neighbours next door (not available Sundays when these sandwich wizards rest – check with them direct for other days).
• Tiered Porcelain Plates – For when your spread needs a little eleganza. Rent these beauties to serve your food with a touch of high tea flair.

Your young mixologists will hear thrilling tales of wizarding lore, guided by professors who’ve studied the arcane arts longer than a Quidditch match with no snitch!

It’s the first step on a magical journey through all three of our hosted classes. We have birthdays sorted with our Craft & Cast Wand Making Class and our Divination Class for older students (and for those who never really grow up!) 

Bookings are essential. These potions won’t make themselves… or maybe they will… Book now before this popular hosted birthday party sells out!

Things You Should Know Before Booking

• The base price includes ten students, includiung the birthday guest. Each additional student incurs an additional per-head fee.
• Upon booking we ask a $100 deposit to secure the date and time. The balance is due on the day of the class.
• Once you have made a booking and paid the deposit, you will soon receive an email with further information and access to an invitation template.
• Your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel or fail to show. However, if you contact us at least one week prior to the date of the class, we will happily reschedule the class for a later, available date.
• A parent or adult guardian must be present in the room at all times. One parent/guardian for each ten participants is mandatory.
• The supervising parent / guardian is expected to assist the professor as requested. This could include supervising toilet trips, providing assistance to a student, cleaning up spillages and accidents or helping to tame an unruly child.
• Adult group bookings are welcome. As it turns out, adults like brewing potions, making wands and foretelling the future just as much as kids do. We have hosted 21st birthday parties, hen’s nights, team meetings and 50th birthday celebrations with only minor changes to the format.
