All Aboard the Wizards Express!
Calling all witches and wizards! On Sunday 20th October the Wizards Express is pulling into Canberra Railway Museum for a day of magical fun and Australia’s most magical store will be there! Quizzic Alley is partnering with the Canberra Railway Museum Museum to bring you MAGIC AT THE MUSEUM, complete with the chance to sit in a train carriage just like the one that carried students to Hogwarts from Platform 9¾!!! We make the school holidays MAGICAL!
The school holidays are almost here and we all know what THAT means… magical fun at Quizzic Alley! We’ve been brewing something new within the hallowed walls of Quizzic Alley and we’d love to share it with you. Of course, we’ll have to insist on complete secrecy… don’t want the Muggles to find out or worse… the Dementors! We’re pleased to report that Moaning Myrtle has been quite helpful. Quizzic Alley and MS Readathon – a magical partnership to get kids to read
Quizzic Alley is throwing its support behind children’s literacy as an official sponsor of this year’s MS Readathon. Registrations are open for the MS Readathon and more than 28,000 kids around the country have already signed up. Over 40,000 are expected to be ready to start reading by August. The rules are simple: Read whatever you like, as much as you can, during August while you raise funds for kids with a parent who has multiple sclerosis. Do we have to sign in? No. The Wizards’ Quiz will be live streamed on Quizzic Alley’s Facebook page. All you have to do is like either or both pages and, when the live stream starts, a notification will appear in your feed. You can also go to Quizzic Alley’s Facebook page, click on videos and you will find the live stream there. We also live stream on YouTube simultaneously and, as long as it stays live, YouTube is just fine. You can subscribe to our YouTube Channel and like our Facebook page to make sure you don’t miss any

Triwizard costume inspiration
Coming along to Harry Potter Book Night at Quizzic Alley tomorrow? We’ve put together a quick list of ideas for costumes – some simple, some a little more challenging. Hogwarts student Wear your Hogwarts house robe or just the right house colours – red and gold for Gryffindor, yellow and black for Hufflepuff, green and silver for Slytherin, blue and bronze for Ravenclaw.
